OBX: The Late Spring Model

Thursday
We drove down on Thursday after I went to Birch’s class picnic. We made nice time and after unpacking, hit up the grocery retailer so we may spend completely satisfied hour on the seashore.

Seaside Day

We ended the day with a scorching tub soak after we wanted to heat up a bit from all of the breezes.
Dinner at North Banks
We determined to do our two dinners out in the midst of the journey as a result of climate forecast, so we went to North Banks for seafood.
Costume up time!
There was a little bit of a wait, so we did some window procuring and visited the bookstore.
I had one of the best bourbon drink referred to as The Paper Crane.
And a flounder topped with crab that was unbelievable!!

Sunday
On our remaining day, Sean, Katie and I went for a morning run. Felt good to get my coronary heart charge excessive!
We had Kodiak desserts to refuel!
We did a number of BEACH for the remainder of the day! Once more, so glad it didn’t rain.
We hit up Whalehead Brewery for completely satisfied hour on Sunday. It was a cool spot the place you can pour your individual glasses / samples.
Blackened Drum + Grits
For dinner I made blackened drum, chile cheese grits, and asparagus.
